"Clay and I have initially learned together through trial and error how to show and be successful in the ring.  We as an owner handler team were able to get his Grand Champion title at a young age, and he loves to show.  I wish I had found Linda Knight and the handling class she teaches when Clay and I first started out.  What we have learned in the last 4 weeks has been invaluable.  Our down and backs are more fluid and my ability to lead Clay through his evaluation and his presence in the ring is more polished.  I can’t wait to start towards Clay’s Bronze Grand Champion title and maybe even a place in the top 20 for our breed.  I highly recommend this class for those new to showing dogs and to those who have some experience.  I will certainly be taking this class again, you can’t ever practice and learn enough!"
- Melissa Bryant, Scarborough, ME

“Dog's world will help you, no matter what it takes. I have never worked with anything like it!”
- Cecilia Ford, Kittery Point, ME

"Thank you for setting up as relaxed an atmosphere as possible for the dogs taking the CGC test on Monday night. It's nerve wracking to be judged on any scale, but especially when it concerns training a puppy. Very quickly the tension I placed on myself dissipated and Louie relaxed, as well. I look forward to more training opportunities."
- Kathleen Kluger, York Beach, ME

"We enjoy working with agility instructor, Paul.  He encourages each participant (canine and human) with helpful suggestions and a wealth of knowledge.  He clearly loves the dogs and teaching and it shows.  We have learned much from him."
- Mike & Jan Davis, Wells, ME

"Linda is an awesome instructor! I've learned so much and plan to enroll for the 2018 course!"

- Jennifer & Tom Mitchell, Berwick, ME

"My dog and I LOVE your classes!"
- Jane Orr, South Berwick, ME

"I have attended 2 courses at It's a Dogs World. First, beginner Agility with Amy and then Canine Good Citizen with Danielle. Both courses were carried out with both patience and professionalism. There was an aggressive dog in the agility course and was asked to leave with complete discretion so that the owner wasn’t embarrassed. The Canine Good Citizen course was carried out with the same patience and professionalism. Even though my pup wasn’t an ideal student, the team realized he was a safe dog and worked with him to get him to graduate. If these 2 courses are an example of the level of competency at Its a dogs world then I would recommend anyone to take a course or seminar at this facility."
- Jack Davis, Eliot, ME

"Facility was very clean and dog friendly. We really liked the trainers energy and presentation style."
- Becky Sama, York, ME

"Very well tempo-ed and was well taught, making teaching Murphy very easy."
- Danielle Leger, Kittery, ME

“Good time with Rocky and Nose Work - learning a lot! Love this place.”

“Agility with Paul: Agility is the best therapy my dog and I have ever experienced (Ok maybe more me than Jazmine)!!! Jazmine and I have been going to Paul now for almost a year at it's a dog's world and has been the best and most rewarding class I have ever attended. After a long day at work the last thing that I want to do is get in a car and drive 45 minutes to an hour to class. However, after Jazmine and I hit the road the bonding has already begun, we talk (Simple Conversation) while sharing a bag a Cheetos, we start to get really excited once we get off the highway as we both know where we are going. Once we turn down the dirt road to it's a dog's world we both lose focus on what occurred throughout the day, nothing matters anymore but Agility!! We get out of the car to greet our Classmates as they too are so encouraging and helpful that we have built a bond with all of them as well. Paul is great at letting us know in a professional and kind manner that it was MY fault and not the dog’s (He’s ALWAYS right)!!! Paul and the Classmates have been a part of Jazmine’s and my journey in this sport and have been supportive since day one when even I thought we weren’t suited for that class. Time, persistence, and the best coaching has not only built my self-confidence and Jazmine’s but we together as a Team have never been stronger. I wanted to share my experience and thank my Classmates, Paul and it's a dog's world for allowing an outlet for myself and Jazmine and let go of everything in the world and just focus on us and have a BLAST while doing it. So with all of that being said, I would travel 2 or 3 hours to this class if I had too, it is worth every second…”
- David Mannette, Saco, ME

- Kim Coomey, Eliot, ME

“I have been going to it's a dog's world for several years now. I started out in a Breed Handling class and have since moved on to Agility. The atmosphere is friendly and positive! Great conditions for training!! :) The staff is very helpful and informative making sure you are in the correct class for your level. I have had several different trainers over time and found each one to be a delight! On the 14th of April I will be starting a puppy in Basic Manners class. “I have been involved in agility and Nose Work classes at it's a dog's world for many years now with multiple dogs and I can honestly say that every experience has been a positive one. The classes are fun and informative with professional trainers who get to know each dog and owner on a personal basis, and can therefore tailor their training to suit the varied temperaments and learning styles of each dog. it's a dog's world  also hosts many workshops and trials such as Canine First Aid and Nose Work mock trials which are offered at affordable rates. I am having fun with my dogs, and they are learning so much! I feel so lucky to have this wonderful facility and its talented staff in my town!”

“I have a well behaved older Shetland Sheepdog with no formal training and I've wanted to work toward getting certification as a therapy dog so we can do volunteer work together. I was at a loss as to which class to fit ourselves into to get started in this direction. The staff at it's a dog's world have been understanding and extremely helpful in providing advice and flexibility to help me discern precisely which class to choose. Their responsiveness and personal approach is much appreciated!”

“I have had a long time relationship with it's a dog's world, the trainers and staff. My dog club rents the facility for it's own events and has always found the process smooth and the facility clean. I have taken classes in Nose Work and found the trainers to be top notch. Their frequent seminars are always pertinent, current and presented by accomplished trainers. Thanks to everyone involved - and especially thanks to Renee -this dog training site gets a top rating from the Saltydawg Portuguese Water Dogs and their person.”
- Karen Ash, Moultonboro, NH

“My first dog, Palmer loved its a dog's world when he went. I mean he LOVED it. He knew when he was going, that he was getting closer and never looked back once he got there. Palmer went to puppy school there and though their coursework became a Good Canine Citizen. He was quite proud of himself that day! When Palmer passed and the new pup, Chance came on the scene, I instantly thought of Renee and the rest of the it's a dog's world team. Just as I thought, Chance LOVES it too! He enjoys the playtime and is some tired when he gets home. I can't wait to get him to take a Scent Class and work to get him his Good Canine Citizen badge. I enjoy knowing my dogs are well taken care of and enjoy life in the company of kind people and good dogs.”
– Cindi Anstey, Sanford, ME

"it's a dog's world is an absolute gem! We're now bringing our third dog to it's a dog's world for training and, for the first time, for day care. Every class we've taken, from Manners to Agility to Come When Called, has not only been informative but wonderfully and lovingly taught, practical and positive. Best of all, the classes are fun for dogs and the people they own. Every instructor has been knowledgeable, caring, and willing to help with any and all issues that arise. We come home happily tired from working and thinking together. And we've now entered the wonderful world of day care with our current dog."
- Donna Cerny, New Castle, NH

"The class was very informative and gave us a lot of chances to practice the things we personally were concerned about. We have been coming here since Nellie was a puppy and she'll be 3 in 2012. We love it here!"
- Emily Bisson, Sanford, ME

"I am a big fan of it's a dog's world in York, ME. We added 2 Spanish Water dogs to our family about 6 years ago. No one in my family was familiar with the breed or had any recent experience in dog training. This is a high energy and very intelligent breed. From advice from several friends, we enrolled in several training classes at it's a dog's world. Basic and Intermediate manners were indispensable and a lot of fun as well! We also enrolled the dogs in the agility classes. These classes helped create a lifelong bond between our family and both dogs. We quickly learned that happy dogs are confident and well trained dogs that gain this confidence when performing tasks as asked."
- DeDe Cadieux, York Harbor, ME

"Gambit made huge strides forward! I have also learned to use better voice commands and hand signals."
- Jason Vilardi, Portsmouth, NH

"My dog and I have been taking dog agility training for several years at it's a dog's world. I have tried courses close to my home but I have not found any to be comparable. Although it is necessary to drive approximately 100 miles round trip for the training, my dogs and I feel it's certainly well worth it. All of the instructors accentuate the positive in their teachings and make my time there a worthwhile experience."
- Andy & "Dover", North Andover, MA

"I am a senior and have been a caregiver for over 13 years; needless to say life can be quite stressful. However, several years ago at it's a dog's world, I found the perfect solution for both my physical and mental wellbeing. The training courses are a perfect blend of encouragement and challenge wrapped in a warm community of friends. I can honestly say I have never met a trainer at this facility who was not top notch nor attended a session that I didn't learn something new and have loads of fun. The agility training especially has bonded my relationship with my canine partner in a way I never dreamed possible. Thank you folks for truly introducing me to my dog’s world."
- Carol & "Jenny B", Wells, ME

"A friend first introduced Benjamin and me to it's a dog's world. When Benjamin was 6 months old I enrolled him in Basic Manners class. I was so impressed that we moved on up to the 2nd level manners class then onto agility training. I was so impressed with the instructors – they would give us an outline of what we would learn during those 5 weeks of training. After the first class I went home and read over the outline…. I laughed at the thought of teaching my pup to lay down in one class…well…. we did! I was totally amazed. People are amazed that I can get my dog to lay and sit down without saying a word to him. The dogs want to learn, they have so much fun and it's a dog's world instructors make it so easy!!! Benjamin loves it so much that when we turn the corner to it's a dog's world he starts running back a forth from front window to back window crying and whimpering, the tail is going 90 mph!!! He loves it as much as I do! It's a great learning tool for the dog and its owner, its great bonding time with your dog and time well spent!"
