it's a dog's world is a complete canine training and activity center with grounds and buildings located on 7 acres of open countryside in York, Maine. When you arrive at it's a dog's world you will find plenty of parking and turnout areas for your dogs. See our Facility Layout.
Lots of Outdoor Space

We think it's important to let your dog "be a dog." That's why we have large open fields and wooded areas so your dog can run free. Of course, all of these options are fenced-in for safety. For training and events, we also boast a 100' x 100' outdoor athletic turf ring, fenced in to prevent both small and large breed dogs from wandering off.
Indoor Spaces with all the Right Stuff

Both our heated daycare building and heated training building provide warm, clean, and spacious areas for indoor activities. We feature a 2000 sq. ft. dedicated daycare facility with play rooms, a nap room, offices, and attached play yards. We also offer a spacious 3500 sq. ft. heated training center with an open-span (no columns), two-story high ceiling, and thick rubber floor mats – it is simply one of the best indoor training facilities around.

​Our equipment is extensive, complete and in top condition. Whether you are here for training, a seminar, competing in a dog sport, or sponsoring a club event you will find everything you need. Our training equipment is regulation standard for obedience, rally, agility, and nose work.
